Brian Fletcher's work is expressionistic, inspired by wild moorland, industrial dereliction, the human figure and mountainous landscapes.
This exhibition of new work shows work made just before and during lockdown. Brian uses a variety of media; mainly oil, mixed media, graphite.

Karin Hessenberg ARBSA
Faces and Figures

Karin Hessenberg's stoneware clay figures show how clothing affects the perception of an individual and their place in society.


Based on paintings from Elizabethan and Jacobean paintings, and family photos, Karin's work includes figures, candle holders and wall-hanging pieces.

Thirteen Months of Sunshine

On a trip to explore Ethiopian churches, Catherine Staveley began documenting the differences between rural and urban clothing and found kindness in the local people she met.

The exhibition title refers to Ethopia's unique thirteen month calendar.

Margaret Fairhead works primarily with machine stitching – manipulating the stitches, threads and colours to create a variety of surface textures applicable to the subject matter.

This exhibition comprises three series of mixed media textile work depicting patterns found in nature.

Petra Röhr-Rouendaal collects objects from around the world - feathers, shells, stones, rusty metal, old tools.


Petra aims to give these found items a new identity, using as little extra material as possible. She is inspired by the ancient Japanese Kintsugi golden mending technique and the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi, creating the beauty of imperfection.

Rob Perry works exclusively on location, producing vigorous paintings and drawings of the European landscape.


Travelling in his famous 'mobile studio', Rob explores the effects wrought upon landscapes it by light, season, atmosphere and the activities of mankind.
