The RBSA Photography Prize Exhibition celebrates artists at all stages of their career, representing a wide range of photographic practice.
Linda Nevill ARBSA
To Be There
Working in all weathers, Linda Nevill makes plein air sketches and paint studies. She works with these and photographs to create finished pieces. For this exhibition she has worked with vibrant soft pastels.
Darius Martisius NWA
Darius Martisius sees art as an expression of experiences. Envisioned as democracy or as a pure freedom which is demonstrated in his works.
For Darius, this channel is a niche place where he can demonstrate happiness, dissatisfaction, politics, sarcasm, to discover an escape of natures harmony, find enjoyment and deliver organic processes into his works.
This exhibition comprises sculptural works depicting these experiences.
Jodie Wingham NWA
This exhibition explores the 'fleeting moment'. Jodie uses her own research and experimentation as a printmaker as she seeks to combine traditional techniques with modern technologies and materials to explore the photographic image.
With a keen interest in documenting the details, rather than providing the viewer with the full picture, the narrative is left to the viewer to decipher.
