Did you make a resolution as an artist to become more organised this year? If so, why not consider entering your work for the RBSA’s forthcoming exhibitions?
We put on an exciting annual programme and always take really good care of the artists who exhibit with us.
Our Gallery, just off St Paul’s Square in Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter is always listed in the top four art galleries in the city. And we have a 200-year history, making us one of the most prestigious (and not forgetting, Royal) venues for your artwork.
Open All Media: deadline 31 January
Check out the current call for our Open All Media Exhibition: go to the RBSA website where you’ll find a downloadable application pack, payment options and full instructions.
Plan your 2018
Benefits of responding to our Call for Entries include:
The chance to be exhibited alongside national and internationally renowned artists
Your work on the walls of a prestigious and historic art gallery
Promotion across social media and to a network of collectors and art lovers
Discounted entry fees for artists under 35
No entry fees for Friends of the RBSA who pay display fees only
Below you’ll find details of our 2018 exhibitions with entry form deadlines and information on how to enter. You’ll find our entry fees very reasonably priced, and if you become a Friend of the RBSA, there’s no fee at all, plus Friends get their very own exhibition…
Friends, Members & Associates, and StArt exhibitions are for artists with RBSA membership.
The RBSA strives to ensure widespread publicity and sustained promotion of all our exhibitions, both online and through our networks at a regional and national level.
One of the chief benefits of joining us is that artists bypass entry fees and only pay display fees if their work is selected for certain exhibitions.
Application forms are made available to download at the respective exhibition pages at the main RBSA website, or you can send in an SAE to the gallery. The same pages will display selection announcements.
Watch out for announcements soon… the quickest way to stay up-to-date is to follow us on Twitter.
Artists with any queries can get in touch by calling 0121 236 4353 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
All our prize exhibitions are independently judged to ensure fairness. Selection is based on the panel’s assessment of the quality of entries and the artistic merit of each work.
Digital submissions are the norm, with only selected artists invited to deliver their works to the gallery.
