Celebrating RBSA Gallery’s 20th Year in the Jewellery Quarter
The Swanpool Tavern, Aston, George Busby
About this exhibition
Celebrating 20 years at our current location in the Jewellery Quarter, the RBSA Anniversary Exhibition draws together Collection Acquisitions from the last 20 years displayed alongside artwork by current members. The exhibition will be over two floors, in Galleries 1 & 2.
The RBSA was established in 1814 with the Collection & Archive dating to the early 1800’s. The Collection has grown significantly in the last 20 years. For this exhibition, a selection of 20-30 donated works will be placed alongside the work of current members, together representing the development of artistic practice and collecting at the RBSA over the last two decades.
The RBSA Anniversary Exhibition will be displayed both online and in the RBSA Gallery. The online exhibition will be displayed on the RBSA Art Blog.
On display 28 July – 5 September
The RBSA Gallery will open its doors on the 28 July, joining several other JQ venues to welcome visitors. We are taking safety measures to ensure that our staff and visitors can enjoy the gallery while keeping distance.
We will keep you updated with further details of our reopening plan and safety precautions.
