If you’re looking for summer family activities or things to do in Birmingham, how about three floors of art with FREE entry?
The RBSA is a working gallery, museum and charity based in the Jewellery Quarter, just off St Paul’s Square.
As one of the oldest art societies and artist-led charities in the UK, the RBSA promotes engagement with the visual arts. We run a programme of summer workshops every year to give more people the opportunity to try out art!
Work by Ruth Green
We are also an Accredited Museum with an extensive Archive and Permanent Collection. Our former presidents include Edward Burne-Jones and Lawrence Alma-Tadema!
The Society also owns and runs the RBSA Gallery, a fully accessible exhibition space boasting three floors of beautiful art.
Admission to all our exhibitions is free and many of the works on show are for sale. We look forward to welcoming you to the Gallery.
Why not sign up to receive regular email updates from the RBSA?
You can view many current exhibitions online, with prices, at our Flickr page.
Nothing beats a visit in person, though, and we hope to welcome you soon. We are just off St Paul’s Square, near Birmingham’s historic Jewellery Quarter, a short walk or tram ride from the city centre.
If you want to make a purchase when you’ve looked around our exhibitions, we take a deposit or full payment at the gallery, and you can arrange to collect your work once the exhibition is over. If you can’t make it to an exhibition, call us on 0121 236 4353 or email email@example.com
Visit the RBSA soon and see what original art you could be taking home…
Remember that booking is not required for our Saturday demonstrations, so feel free to drop by the Gallery on the day. For more details on all the events listed, and to find out about everything else going on at the RBSA, please take a look at the website.
