Margaret Sellers trained at Wallasey, Birmingham and Goldsmith’s College, London. She was elected as an Associate of the RBSA in 2001 and as a Member in 2005. She is also a Member of the Printmakers Council, Richmond Printmakers and Artichoke Print workshop.
She has exhibited in the Affordable Art Fair, Chelsea Arts Society, the National Theatre, and the Business Design Centre.
Sellers works within three main areas of printmaking: etching, silk-screen and linocut and she emphasises freedom of treatment. Margaret’s prints vary between the recognisably real and the abstract. She begins with natural and man-made structures which are then re-interpreted to produce a thematically related series or editions of unique prints.
