Ann Hackett

RBSA

Ann Hackett’s involvement in the Society started in 2006, followed by Associateship and then becoming a Member in 2015.

Coming from an artistic background has always been an influence on her creativity. Arts, crafts and flower arranging was then followed by teaching Garden Design at Winterbourne.

Her interest in gardens and horticulture has influenced her art in many ways and attending art college meant this subject became a focus. The subject matter of her work has been widened by her horticultural background.

Teaching art for a number of years has allowed Anne to experiment with various mediums and techniques to develop her work. Focussing on watercolour, ink and collage contributes to the final pieces of artwork, which fuel her imagination.

Ann regularly exhibits at the RBSA, across the country and abroad and her work has been sold nationally and internationally.
