The Full Story
Bethan works from her home studio in North Wales. Her jewellery is intended to work for every occasion, with a sleek simplicity that is suitable for every day wear. She is a member of the British Society of Enamellers.
Form and texture are primary to Bethan’s designs. She finds inspiration in little details; often something as small as a texture, a pattern or a shape will catch her eye. She enjoys using a restricted colour palette and sleek, clear lines.
Materials and process
All of her pieces are entirely hand-made, meaning that every item is unique. The method of making is central to her practice. She focuses on the small details, right down to the clasp or a pin of an item. Bethan works with sterling silver, using recycled silver whenever possible.
