Learning & Engagement Manager
Deadline: Sunday 29 May
About this opportunity
The Learning & Engagement Manager plays a vital role in delivering a wide range of inclusive activities at RBSA Gallery from working with schools, colleges and universities, to managing funded projects with community groups. This is an exciting time to join the organisation as we reopen in a newly refurbished building in June. The role will focus on developing new and diverse audiences through a creative programme of activities inspired by gallery exhibitions, the RBSA Collection and the community.
This role would suit a highly motivated individual who has a background in education, learning and engagement in the creative, arts or heritage sectors, together with a proven track record of developing new audiences and an empathy with our work as a visual arts charity.
The successful candidate should have excellent project management skills with rigorous attention to detail, experience of working with a diverse range of participants and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Working closely with the RBSA staff team and membership, they should demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a flexible approach, with an enthusiasm for all aspects of the role.
Paid hourly at £12.00 per hour for 15.5 hours per week, equivalent to £24,180 per annum pro rata. Occasional overtime may be paid or time off in lieu granted when agreed in advance.
The post is 2 days per week (15.5 hours per week). Standard working hours are between Tuesday to Friday, from 9.00am to 5.15 pm with 30 minutes for lunch. In addition, some evening and occasional weekend work may be required.
Please download and complete the application form and return it by email to Sanna Moore, Gallery Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org Deadline: 12 midnight on Sunday 29 May 2022.
