About This Exhibition 

The annual RBSA Friends Exhibition provides a platform for Friends at different stages of their practice to display artwork at the RBSA Gallery. This exhibition will be the first Friends exhibition in our newly refurbished Gallery.

Entry is free and open to all current Friends working in any media, including photography. Display fees are applicable to all artists that are successfully selected. Selection for the Friends Exhibition is by digital image of the original artwork. This year’s exhibition will be selected by Friends Coordinator Olivia Swinscoe NWA, Honorary Curator Ed Isaacs RBSA and Associates Representative Mary Flitcroft ARBSA.

The Friends Exhibition will be on display both in the RBSA Gallery and online to ensure access to those who want to enjoy the exhibition from home.

RBSA Friends have been part of the RBSA since the 1900s and the RBSA was one of the first art societies to give subscribers their own exhibition. Many former Friends have progressed to become Associates or Members and have been elected as Council Members, who help shape the Society’s future.
