Workshop with Olivier Jamin, Guest Tutor

Olivier is a Deaf artist and will work with a BSL interpreter to show you how to make a range of designs in mixed media. Ideal for both Deaf and hearing beginners.

Workshop outline

Morning:  Olivier and his colleague, Sunny, will each you how to create line drawings - any patterns, names, shapes, flowers, images. Then they will cut out these images or take photos of the images.  Sunny will bring his own equipment to heat print the images on t-shirts or bags, ready for you to take home!

Afternoon: Olivier Jamin and his colleague, Sunny,  will lead a short BSL tour with Sunny about  artwork displayed on the wall or via easel display stands. If there is time, participants can go back to creating more artwork.

To book please contact the gallery on 0121 236 4353. Payment can be made in cash or by card or cheque. Cheques are to be made payable to RBSA.

Places are limited to 10 students per workshop. Allocation will take place on a first come first served basis, subject to receipt of full non-transferable and non-refundable payment.

The RBSA Gallery reserves the right to withdraw the course. In this eventuality, you will be notified and fully refunded.

£30 for Friends of the RBSA, Members & Associates, and full-time students

A valid student ID must be provided to receive a student discount.
