School Visits, Prizes, and PVs!
17 June 2016
It has been a very busy week of school visits, degree show PVs, and prizes!
School Visit - Hodge Hill Girls School and Broadway Academy
As part of our 'New Curators: Sculpture' project, we delivered free workshops to several school groups. These sessions were led by Annette Pugh ARBSA, Wayne Attwood RBSA, and David Walton RBSA. We were delighted with the work produced by the students. They all worked really hard and made some insightful comments about the artworks on display.
School of Jewellery - Prize for Innovation and Creativity
Each year the RBSA has the special task of selecting three winners from the School of Jewellery graduate show for its Innovation and Creativity prize. This year we selected Holly Clifford, Abbie Gaiger, and Carolyn Johnson. Their exciting work will be displayed in the Craft Gallery from 26 September until 29 October.

Degree show PVs
There have been three graduate show PVs this week at Margaret Street School of Art, the School of Jewellery, and BCU Parkside. There was an amazing variety of work on display, demonstrating the great range of artistic talent within the City. We were particularly interested in the Textile Design Course because we are currently working with students from that course as part of a print project - watch this space!
