Lynda  Kettle

After studying at Stourbridge Art College and Birmingham College of Art and Design, Lynda worked as a stage and costume designer for the theatre. She then pursued a career at the BBC, initially as an Art Director and then as a Production Designer. Lynda now has a studio at the Stoke Prior Craft Centre and runs art workshops. She was elected as an associate of the RBSA in 2008 and was made a full member in 2010. She has exhibited at various galleries including Heywood Gallery and Nuneaton Museum and Art Gallery. She is a member of numerous initiatives including Women in Rural Enterprise and the Birmingham Watercolour Society. She is currently Prize Co-ordinator at the RBSA. Lynda’s dramatic flair produces paintings with colour, clarity and detail. Themes include the natural environment, travel and the theatre.
