Mark Elsmore

Mark Elsmore was born in “The Potteries” North Staffordshire. He continues a family history of five generations of potters and painters. Elected a member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists in 2007, and a member of the Wirral Society of Arts since 2004, he exhibits nationally and has work in collections throughout the UK and abroad. Mark’s work has been selected for many prestigious annual society exhibitions including the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists, Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolours, Royal Watercolour Society, Discerning Eye, New English Art Club, Royal Institute of Oil Painters, Manchester Academy, and Wirral National. Mark has been a regular contributor to the Sunday Times Watercolour Exhibitions, winning first prize in 2012. Pipes and cables/veins and lungs; busying us along, hidden away in the core of a corkscrew stairway. Tottenham Court Road tube station the day before a closure for an upgrade, space utilised, secreted innards, dynamic guts stretching into the unknown
