Mark Fennell

Mark studied graphic design and advertising at Amersham School of Art before commencing a career as an art director working for ad agencies in and around London.

A self-taught painter, he has only been painting since 2001 and was elected an associate member of the society in 2006.

He paints predominantly in oils, however he also likes to draw in pencil and charcoal, and has already had work exhibited with the Royal Society of Portrait Painters at The Mall Galleries in London.

Specialising in portrait and figurative work, commissions to date include Antony Worrall Thompson, the Lord Mayor of Birmingham and musician John Otway.
