Malcolm Brookes

My activities are essentially about the following:
1. The contemplation of, and response to, the visible world.
2. The solving of pictorial problems and the expression of an idea. My pleasure is in the problem solving, if the picture has not been a struggle, the outcome means less to me. I accept the weakness implicit in this statement, that I may dismiss easily achieved, spontaneous work, which may have more merit in the opinion of others.
3. The spiritual satisfaction of playing God and being a creator.
