George Busby

"I paint mainly the places where people live and work, the industrial scene in particular, with perhaps some nostalgia for things that are gradually disappearing.
The interaction of people with their environment interests me. I like to be aware of their presence, even if only inferred."

As an illustrator of railway subjects George Busby's work appears in three books publisjed by the Guild of Railway Artists. He is a member of the chartered society of designers and was elected a member of RBSA in 1977.
