David Carpanini
David Carpanini was born
in Glamorgan in 1946. He studied at Gloucestershire
College of Art & Design, Cheltenham;
The Royal College of Art and The University
of Reading. He was President of the Royal
Society of Printmakers from 1995-2003 and
Professor of Art at the University of Wolverhampton
from 1992-2000. His work has been the subject
of three television documentaries and is
held in numerous and private public collections
in the UK, USA, Europe, Canada, Saudi Arabia
and Australia. His drawings, paintings and
etchings are almost exclusively devoted
to the presentation of the industrial valleys
of South Wales.
