'Best of Brum'
29 March - 21 May 2010
Famous for the production of various 'manufactured arts' during the eighteenth century, Birmingham has always been at the forefront of craft design and production. With its roots firmly placed in historical creative industries, the RBSA Craft Gallery celebrates the city's own designer-makers.
To coincide with the RBSA's ten years in the Jewellery Quarter anniversary, the Craft Gallery will dedicate this exhibition to distinguished designer makers from the second city.
'Best of Brum' will include jewellers and silversmiths such as Louise Chesshire and Kerry O'Connor, Esther Lord and Rajesh Gogna, all of whom are based in Birmingham's famous Quarter for Jewellery.
