The Permanent Collection
The RBSA houses a permanent collection containing over 400 pieces of art by Members and Associates of the society and by artists with a connection to the Midlands. Including paintings, drawings and jewellery, the collection contains a wide variety of objects and artwork executed in a range of media.
The Archive
The RBSA has an extensive archive which documents the activity of the society. The archive material includes curatorial files containing information about artists and their work and exhibition catalogues dating back to the nineteenth-century.
Our archivists are happy to deal with any enquiries regarding an artist or their work. The fee
for all enquiries is £20 which contributes to the maintaining and the running of the archive which is largely run by volunteers. Cheques should
be made payable to the RBSA, and this sent
with the enquiry details to -
